Summary
A Long Term Forest Design Plan sets out how a woodland area could be managed over many years. This may include which trees to fell, when to replant, what species to grow, and how to protect the local environment. Loch Romain is in a remote part of Kintyre, in Argyll and Bute. The site is a short drive from the nearest school, and much further from any hospital. There are very few people living nearby. Forest plans can affect the local landscape and wildlife habitats. They also set out how forestry vehicles would access the site during any future operations.
