Summary
The applicant wants to trim two magnolia trees beside the front door at 16 Melville Street. Each tree would lose about half a metre from its canopy.
The trees would remain in place. Their branches would be shorter and may allow more light around the front door. People nearby should see little change to the street.
The council will decide after the comment period. The trees are not being cut down. No building work is described.
