Summary

The applicant wants to trim back a tree in the front garden of 51 Cyprus Road. The work would leave two metres between the tree and house.

The tree is close to the house and blocks some light. The trimming could also reduce access for vermin. The front garden would remain planted, but the tree would be smaller.

The council will decide after the comment period. The trimming is not described as already done or approved.

About this summary

What the council wrote is the official record. This summary was made automatically by Plotbeacon from the council's notice.

What the council wrote

The tree is in our front garden and has grown to such an extent as to almost touch the front of the house. It is blocking light, and is providing a path for vermin to access our attic space (as is currently the case which we have to now deal with separately). We only seek to prune it back to achieve a 2 metre clearance.
